The preparation of cocktails is somewhat an art with its own terminology and methodology. Personally, I believe that cocktail making is one of the most fulfilling aspects of bartending. cocktail bartenders are true artists that are able to entertain their customers while preparing tasteful and exotic drinks.
Instead of waltzing 3d motion multi directional over to the bar to mix a pick me up I would usually find myself shaking and puking the first thing in the morning. I would then stumble to the kitchen and mix up a drink, and then gag and puke until some of the alcohol would hold. After a couple drinks I was usually well enough to start the day.
Dry mops are made to pick up and hold the dust and dirt particles that may be on your floor. These mops are ideal for cleaning your floor between your more deep cleanings of the hardwood floor. The mops are also good for eliminating the dust that can be spread through the air and cause allergies to be exacerbated. If you use your mop with the addition of a dust cleaning product you will be sure to minimize the amount of dust and dirt in the air.
The ability to wear them off the golf course. For instance the other drinks rotational morning I had a friend call me up with an open tee time. I was on my way out the door, and I thought, " I'll just throw my golf shoes on now." I went into the office for a couple of hours, and then jumped in my car, ran from the parking lot to the golf shop just in time to make my tee time. I played five hours of golf, and then met my wife for dinner, all without changing my shoes. So, spikeless golf shoes allow a person to go from the course to the mall, to restaurants, to shopping malls, without creating a racket or without sliding around like you're on ice skates.
Bartenders need to have a good personality like some sort of customer hospitality. If it means listening to the customer's problems, joking around as if the two of you are friends, remembering the customer's names and the likes. Bartenders are celebrities, besides the work they do; they need to socialize with a lot of people, different types of people. Forget being stiff. It won't get a bartender anywhere.
Some little items to make life easier include a bottle pourer, a bottle opener, and a corkscrew. Corkscrews are cheap and easy to use, but there is a variety of fancy electric and battery operated wine openers. A small cutting board is perfect for slicing garnishes and you'll want a pairing knife to go along with it. A citrus zester, swizzle sticks, and lemon/lime squeezers are also good to have handy. You can get away without them, but if you're serious about your barware, then they are a worthy investment. If you're serving guests, use an ice bucket and tongs rather then leaving the ice cube tray out. It's also just good etiquette not to touch other people's ice.
